Patina: The Beauty of Imperfection

Stone chips, faded paint, cracked leather — every mark tells a story

Personal Project · September 2025

A photo series celebrating what most people try to hide: the honest wear and aging of cars that were actually used.

In an era of concours restorations and ceramic coatings, there's something radical about a car that wears its history openly. Every stone chip is a road driven. Every crack in the leather is a summer with the windows down. Every faded panel tells you which direction this car faced when it slept.

This series documents twelve cars whose owners chose character over perfection. Cars that prove the most beautiful surface is an honest one.
